It is important for people of all ages to keep your mind engaged.  Especially when it comes to math skills.  Educational websites are a fun and interactive way to keep up with all of our acquired skills in math and reading.  I came up with a list of the best, fun and educational websites that i have come across.  These websites will be sure to spark your children and students interest.


  1. www.mathforum.com- This online forum allows teachers, students, parents and tutors share ideas and acquire new skills.  There are plenty of problems and puzzles available to explore.
  2. www.AAAmath.com- This website allows you to view lessons by subject and grade.  With thousands of interactive arithmetic lessons, you have unlimited practice on mastering concepts.  You will also receive immediate feedback to ensure you are solving the problems correctly.
  3. www.coolmath.com- This is a fun website that is filled with cool math games, math lessons, math practice, and even a math dictionary!
  4. www.figurethis.org- This website is all about involving the whole family in math.  It strives to make math fun through a series of fun and engaging, high-quality challenges.
  5. www.mathcats.com- Mathcats allows you to explore several important math concepts.  You are able to play several fun games, as well as, create crafts and interactive projects.
  6. www.easymaths.org- This is a South African Community website where teachers, students and parents are able to view math lessons, tests and worksheets.
  7. www.bbc.co.uk/education/megamaths/tables.html- This website is based on the BBC school television series "Megamaths."  This is a lively and interactive website that allows you to practice and test your times tables.
  8. www.mathleague.com- This website is dedicated to bringing challenging math materials to students.  It is designed for fourth graders through high school students to get involved in math through questions, contests and books.
  9. www.abcya.com- This website was created and approved by certified school teachers.  It is full of fun, interactive games.  It also incorporates lessons in math and language arts all while introducing basic computer skills.
  10. www.funbrain.com/numbers.html- This is an online arcade where kids are able to play several games that help them build on what they have already learned and allows students to acquire new skills in reading, math and problem solving.
